American Indian- Home project Due December 8
A museum has asked you to design a display case for a Native America Indian group of your choice. Create a poster or diorama (3 dimensional/ shoebox display) to showcase this group's daily life, including how the group obtained water, food, tools, clothing, and shelter. Show depictions of the groups's religious and /or cultural traditions, government, and economy. Prepare a museum plaque to describe the visual. The plaque will be similar to a museum exhibit telling briefly what your project is about (an index card would make a great plaque). You will research your group using our Social Studies text, other books or research using KITTLE online. Then prepare a two-minute presentations.
American Indian groups: Navajo, Zuni, Hopi, Apache, Pomo, Lakota, Pawnee, Cheyenne, Iroquois, Cherokee, and Mohawk.
