Math-

Choose activities to practice math skills

  • Think Central - I will set up weekly Math "ideas" on Think Central.  These are a review of standards we have already covered this school year.

  • IXL- 5th grade math standards and practice

  • Prodigy - https://www.prodigygame.com/

Language Arts

  •  Daily Journaling:  - The goal is to write every day - You choose the writing prompt.  In an email, I  provided a PDF with a daily prompt. Or you can choose from the list below!  It would also be fun to keep a sort of diary. These events are something you may want to look back on when you are all grown up!

  • Independent Reading:   - Choose a book of your own to read.

  • It looks like Reading Counts is open for you to test from home, during school hours.

 Additional Language Arts Activities:

  • Typing practice https://www.typing.com/

  • Scholastic Magazine - https://classroommagazines.scholastic.com/support/learnathome.html

I found this fun fifth grade book list on Pinterest!
